After captivating live audiences across North America and beyond, HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis is taking another major step onto the global stage. The acclaimed comedy special will become available on Apple TV and Prime Video beginning September 15, 2026, reaching audiences across more than 130 countries.

Starring legendary improviser Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), master hypnotist Asad Mecci, and directed by Joan Tosoni, the HYPROV special captures the wildly unpredictable combination of hypnosis and improvisational comedy that has made the live production an international sensation. Every performance begins with volunteers from the audience being hypnotized by Mecci before Mochrie joins them on stage to lead them through a series of completely improvised scenes, with no script and no way of knowing what will happen next. The Apple TV and Prime Video release marks the latest milestone in HYPROV’s continued expansion from stage to screen.

The special previously made its Canadian network premiere on CBC and streaming debut on CBC Gem, giving viewers the opportunity to experience the acclaimed production from home for the first time. Now HYPROV will reach its widest screen audience yet, introducing the show’s one-of-a-kind format to viewers in more than 130 countries.

At the centre of HYPROV is the chemistry between Mecci and Mochrie.
