Seismic, the Go-To-Market Performance company, today announced that Umberto Milletti has joined as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). Milletti will lead Seismic’s product and technology organization, including design, engineering, technical support, research and development (R&D), and AI innovation, as the company plans to invest over $100 million in its revenue execution roadmap following its merger with Highspot.
An accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and company builder, Milletti brings decades of experience developing category-defining enterprise software, scaling global product and engineering organizations, and translating emerging technologies into products that deliver measurable customer value. In his new role, Milletti will focus on developing more connected, intelligent experiences that help go-to-market (GTM) organizations improve productivity, execution, and performance.
“Umberto brings a rare combination of product vision, deep technical expertise, and entrepreneurial leadership at exactly the right moment for Seismic,” said Rob Tarkoff, Chief Executive Officer, Seismic. “We have an extraordinary opportunity to define how a generation of companies turn strategy into revenue. Umberto’s leadership will help us realize that vision by accelerating bold, enterprise-ready innovation that delivers massive impact for our customers.”
Milletti joins Seismic from Demandbase, where he served as CPTO following Demandbase’s 2021 acquisition of InsideView. He founded InsideView in 2005 and served as CEO until its acquisition by Demandbase, building it into a leading provider of B2B data and intelligence. Earlier in his career, Milletti co-founded DigitalThink, where he helped pioneer one of the first multi-tenant SaaS platforms for online learning and led the company through its initial public offering and subsequent acquisition by Convergys.
“Seismic, and the enablement discipline as a whole, are at a pivotal moment,” said Milletti. “I joined because that moment requires rethinking how GTM teams use AI to turn strategy into consistent execution. This is a category-defining opportunity and I’m confident we’ll seize it for our customers’ benefit because of our strong product foundation, deep talent, and unique insights from millions of users.”
With its merger with Highspot complete, Milletti is among several seasoned leaders joining Seismic to guide its next chapter. Former Adobe CEO and longtime technology operator Bruce Chizen has joined as Chairman of Seismic’s board of directors. Gurpreet Singh Pall has joined as President, Managing Director of Seismic India and will lead the company’s India operations from Hyderabad. Pall previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of R&D for Highspot India. Earlier this year, Seismic appointed former Oracle SVP Rob Pinkerton as Chief Marketing Officer and former Amazon HR leader Kimberly Schultz as Chief Human Resources Officer.
