In business since 1998, the new Bayview Avenue shop handles collision repair, paint and insurance claims under one roof — in English, Spanish and Russian

Most people only see a body shop on the worst day of their year. Our job is to make the next two weeks boring: we handle the claim, they get the car back right.”

JERSEY CITY, NJ, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Waxman of Tristate Auto Body & Collision Center is now open and serving customers at 18-24 Bayview Ave in the Greenville section of Jersey City. The shop is the second location of Waxman of Tri-State, a Jersey City business that started with a detailing studio in 1998 and now brings collision repair, structural work and its own paint booth to the south side of the city.

The Bayview Avenue facility takes a vehicle from the first estimate to delivery without sending it out: collision and body repair, frame and unibody straightening, refinishing in an in-house paint booth, paintless dent repair, wheel repair, and camera and radar calibration after the repair. Protection work — paint protection film, ceramic coating and window tint — is done in the same building, and the shop repairs Tesla and other electric vehicles.

For most customers the shop’s job starts before the car arrives. Owners can send four to eight photos from their phone and receive a written estimate the same business day through the shop’s free photo estimate. Towing intake is answered around the clock, and the shop arranges the tow directly to Bayview Avenue.

“We spent almost thirty years learning what Jersey City drivers actually want from a shop: a straight answer, a written estimate, and someone who will talk to the insurance company so they don’t have to,” said Artur Vinokurov, owner. “Bayview Avenue is that, under one roof — body work, paint booth, calibration — and we do it in English, Spanish and Russian.”

Insurance work is handled at the counter. The shop opens the claim, documents the vehicle panel by panel, writes supplements in the carrier’s own format when teardown reveals hidden damage, and bills the insurer directly, so the customer pays the deductible and nothing else. Under New Jersey law the vehicle owner, not the insurer, chooses the repair facility; the shop’s insurance claims page explains what an adjuster can and cannot require.

Every repair that qualifies leaves with the shop’s own written warranty. Estimates, supplements and the questions that come with them are explained by the same person who is looking at the car — in Spanish and Russian as well as English.
