Museum Auction Truck Helps Preserve Towing’s History and Build Its Future

It is about ensuring the stories, accomplishments and innovations of the towing and recovery profession are preserved for generations to come.

Held Friday, October 16, during Museum Weekend 2026, the Annual Fundraising Auction will bring together towing professionals, industry leaders and Museum supporters for an evening of fellowship, fundraising and spirited bidding.

Proceeds from the auction directly support the Museum’s mission to preserve the history of the towing and recovery industry while expanding educational opportunities and enhancing exhibits for future generations. Auction proceeds are earmarked for improving the current Museum with the goal of purchasing a larger home or expanding the existing building to share more of our industry’s history.

A centerpiece of this year’s auction is a special 2026 Museum Auction Truck, generously donated for the third consecutive year by longtime industry partners Hino Trucks and Miller Industries. Built on a 2026 Hino L6 Series chassis and equipped with a Century 12 Series LCG™ carrier, the truck is wrapped with a special 40th Anniversary Hall of Fame logo, celebrating four decades of recognizing and preserving the towing and recovery industry’s history.
