Demarc Telecom Secures $410K SELCO Fiber Infrastructure Contract Following Competitive Bid

Awarded through competitive bidding, the contract continues Demarc’s involvement in the expansion of Shrewsbury’s municipal fiber network.

TYNGSBORO, MA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Demarc has supported SELCO through several previous fiber infrastructure contracts. Its work has included aerial and underground fiber placement, fiber optic splicing and network testing.

Across previous SELCO projects, Demarc has contributed to approximately 800,000 feet of fiber construction, 230 splice enclosures and 10,000 recorded fiber test results. These quantities represent prior project experience and are separate from the newly awarded IFB16 contract.
